Today is my birthday, it just started a couple hours ago. I'm 38. I'm hanging out at my dad's house. It's nice seeing him. Was in Las Vegas a bit ago. Saw a show called Absinthe. It was hilarious. The Gazillionare's crowd control was truly something to witness. It's interesting, normally the day before my birthday I'm nervous or anxious or something. As it something is going to change or should change or changes when it's your birthday.
Yet for some reason this time, I didn't feel that. I felt tranquility for once. I launched Yout.com on December 5th, 2015 on my 30th birthday. That makes it eight years since launch. Makes its almost nine years since I first started working on it. I feel the weight of that statement. It's amazing what can happen in almost a decade.
I don't know what the future is going to bring, I'm sure some one does, but it's not me. It's interesting because for a change I feel the change. Subtle, but distinct. I'm unsure if i like it, but I don't dislike it. Maybe I like it. I don't know.
Martin Van Buren share's a birthday with me. A primary founder of the Democratic party and the US's 8th president. Didn't even know he existed till just now. However, his presidency is considered to be average, at best, by historians.
Then there also General Custer who also was born on this day. He graduated last in his class at West Point Military Academy, yet he quickly rose to prominence during the US Civil War. Contemporary opinions characterized Custer's last battle as a grand self sacrifice but more recent opinion is divided and the events of that day remain controversial.
If move a bit closer to the present people born today we end up with Mr Walt Disney, whom needs no explanation, and one of my favorite coincidences, Werner Heisenberg.
Werner Heisnberg was a famous physicist who discovered the uncertainty principle. My type a guy, he won a noble for coining uncertainty. That's not a bad legacy. The uncertainty principle.
But who thinks of legacy nowadays. It's more fun to have fun. And maybe do a bit of physics on the side. That's not me though. I'm me, and absolutely no idea what I will do tomorrow. I do know that tomorrow will come and another day will dawn. That's not bad at all, in fact, that's awesome. Don't think you could ask for more. Also, went for a run because no on regrets going for a run, except of course those who do.
