Stating the obvious is hard. RIP John Madden. It's amazing, how a man like him may never really have understood, or perhaps he did. The impact he had on a segment of the world.
I doubt many people will ever remember much of anything. It's why books are rather amazing.
The internet is and isn't for ever. It's for ever if the server is still up, or if it was archived. Otherwise. It disappears.
Long forgotten. There are probably things the internet has forgotten about that will be rediscovered, by chance. And hit twice as hard.
For no other reason, than it must be so, because it's the internet.
The year is ending soon. Another meaningless holiday, to celebrate the passing of time. Although, meaningless, they do have some significant joy attached to them. The spirit, is around.
