Because 2020 was just what you would expect it to be, even. Onto the odd year 2021. Some of you may be reading this already basking in the pleasantry that is 2021, unspoiled and virgin in it's aurora.
Of course there are probably some of you that are reading this, still stuck in 2020. Don't worry that too shall pass soon enough. It might even be a spiteful moment when it goes by, perhaps with a bang.
As time progresses 2021 will shower us with surprises. Those surprises will come in many forms. I imagine that it will have only good news. Not because anything will actually change, it's already changed, but because there just is no other way.
Granted there will be some challenges, but nothing that can't be solved with a good bit of elbow grease and procrastination, the tool of the lazy. So say farewell to 2020, goodbye to the monstrosity that is the past, and the beauty that is the feature. And say hello to 2021, which will be only one digit away from 2020. The year that can only be measured in one way, cubic inches.
