Friday Uh-Oh Run

There is a man by the name of David Goggins.  If there was ever a man who has conquered his personal demons, it is that man.  He has a line where he says something along the lines of "There is no running up here" as he points to his head.  "I hate running, I do it to prove to myself I am determined."

He probably even said it better, but I don't remember specifically the quote.  This helped me, as despite being able to run at least once a week, some days it's truly a struggle to get motivated to do the run.

No longer.  Now today, woke up knowing I had to run, and to quote Mr. Goggins again, "You don't know who I am" when the thought of delaying it came to mind.

Powerful stuff.  Also though, today there was an easter egg not in my run, but in life. Someone thought of me in a far away land.  As always, like the run, there will be a nice response of gratitude.
